SIMON AFTALION

PRINCIPAL

Simon Aftalion brings over a decade of multifamily development experience in Los Angeles to his role at Passo. Prior to co-founding the firm, he served as Development Director at a Los Angeles-based developer, leading projects from acquisition through entitlement, design, construction, and disposition. Simon began his real estate career at Boston Properties and EastBanc in Washington, D.C., and later focused on ground-up and adaptive reuse housing in Southern California. He holds degrees from Georgetown University, UC Irvine, and the London School of Economics. Simon is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), NAIOP, and the Central City Association of Los Angeles. He also serves on the board of directors for Equitable Connections to Housing Opportunities (ECHO), a nonprofit focused on expanding access to affordable housing. Simon brings a mission-driven focus and deep development expertise to Passo’s work in creating thoughtful, community-centered housing.
